Buddha Teas Fair Trade Scholarship Program
General Information
Buddha Teas holds a bi-annual scholarship competition for students who are studying Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Policy, and other such college and university degree programs.
Eligibility:
- Students must currently be enrolled in an applicable program, or have been accepted into, and enrolled for the following academic year.
- Applicants must be age 18 and over.
- High school seniors to graduate-level seniors are eligible.
- Minimum 2.8 GPA
How to apply:
Email the following application materials to scholarshipsubmissions@buddhateas.com:
1) Essay of 500-750 words, illustrating your passion for ethical and responsible commerce, and showing how you plan to make a difference in the world through your education and career goals. Check website for essay advice.
2) Your name, email address, and phone number in your email and at the top of each page
3) Proof of school enrollment, and a copy of your most recent school transcripts.
4) A copy of your resume or curriculum vitae. (Optional)
This scholarship is awarded twice a year.
Fall semester deadline: July 31
Spring semester deadline: November 30
