Non-Tax Filers

Non-Tax Filers

If you were not required to file taxes under federal regulations, please provide the following documents:

Parents

• All W-2 forms
  • If you did not retain a copy of your W-2, you can request a Wage and Income Transcript from the IRS
  • If you did not receive a W-2, include all earnings/income statements (taxed and untaxed, including disability statements, Social Security benefits statements, etc.)
  • If you did not work at all, please indicate that on the Parent Verification Form and the Non-Filing Form.
• Parent Verification of Non-Tax Filing Form OR you can request a Letter of Non-Filing from the IRS.
• For Foreign Non-Tax Filers, provide all wage statements for the tax year and complete the Parent Foreign Non-Tax Filing Form
• Earnings/income statements (taxed and untaxed, including disability statements, Social Security benefits statements, etc.).

Dependent Students

Independent Students

  • If you did not retain a copy of your W-2, you can request a Wage and Income Transcript from the IRS
  • If you did not receive a W-2, include all earnings/income statements (taxed and untaxed, including disability statements, Social Security benefits statements, etc.)
  • If you did not work at all, please indicate that on the Independent Student Verification Form and the Non-Filing Form.
• Student Verification of Non-Tax Filing Form OR you can request a Letter of Non-Filing from the IRS.
• For Foreign Non-Tax Filers, provide all wage statements for the tax year and complete the Student Foreign Non-Tax Filing Form
